Steps to Hire a Co-op or Intern

  • Review resumes, select candidates, and schedule interviews on-campus, virtually, or at your business location.

Select a candidate and ensure compliance with all state and federal employment regulations. 

Complete onboarding activities, set clear expectations, track progress, and provide regular feedback and mentoring. 

After Hiring 

Ensure the student understands their responsibilities and is integrated into your team. 

Provide regular feedback and support to help the student grow professionally.
