Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure Pilot Program
Through the IPAL (Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure) pilot program, SAID is providing students the opportunity to complete the requirements for licensure while earning their degree. The initiative encourages NAAB-accredited programs to incorporate the Architectural Experience Program™ (AXP) and the opportunity to take the Architect Registration Examination® (ARE) while completing academic curricula. The IPAL option does not replace the NAAB-accredited program, but adds an additional path within an already existing program. The first cohort is expected to graduate with both an architectural license and the MArch degree in April 2021.
